Wilson Bowden Employees raise over £6k for Mind Charity

Employees at Wilson Bowden have raised an impressive £6,234.34 for the mental health charity Mind.

Sebastian Foster, Graduate Development Surveyor, kicked off the fundraising efforts for Mind earlier this year by running the Brighton and London Marathons 2017, taking on the monumental task of running 2 marathons in 2 weeks!

In the run up to the challenge Seb organised a charity pub quiz and a charity auction, and also benefitted from a sunflower sale organised by our very own Val Webster.

Despite being injured in the run up to and during both marathons, Seb managed to complete both marathons in 4hr 38min and 5h 12min respectively. A remarkable achievement, and with match funding from the Barratt Developments group managed to raise over £5,700.

Similarly Keith Jackson, Senior Project Manager, was able to raise £500 for Mind through selling DVDs, Books, CDs and Children's Toys. With a few more items still to sell this total could increase even further.

A massive well done to all our team who helped raise this fantastic amount, and a big thank you to all those who donated and supported Seb and Keith throughout their fundraising efforts.

If you wish to make any further donations please feel free to contact Seb and Keith. Their details are as follow:
