Forward funding agreed for Infinity Park Derby facility

Infinity Park Derby LLP has secured forward funding from Logicor for a large-scale distribution warehouse development.

Spanning 507,000 sq ft, the speculatively built unit on Plot D2 at Infinity Park Derby will benefit from a prime location within the high demand logistics 'golden triangle', emphasising the continued strength of the East Midlands market. Close to East Midlands Airport, the property will have easy access to national arterial routes, primarily the A50, M1, and M6.

The sustainable build specification will target BREEAM 'Excellent' and EPC 'A' accreditation and feature low and zero carbon technologies, including solar panels, LED lighting, and air source heat pumps.

Bowmer and Kirkland have been appointed as the Main Contractor to deliver the project and construction is scheduled to begin in early 2024.

Projections suggest that more than 1300 jobs may be created, both during construction and once the unit is completed.

Logicor were advised by Cushman & Wakefield, and Infinity Park Derby LLP were advised by Avison Young.

Infinity Park Derby is a joint venture involving a Developer consortium comprising of Wilson Bowden Developments Limited and Peveril Securities; Landowners Rolls-Royce and Harpur Crewe Estates; Public Sector Partners Derby City Council, University of Derby and the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership. The Park is already home to Oregon Timber Frames, Rolls-Royce's Nuclear Skills Academy and Nuclear AMRC Midlands.
